Problem with my winter squash leaves?

Mid-Cape, MA(Zone 7a)

Hi!
My "Sweet Dumpling" Earthbox-grown winter squash vine has many 3-4 inch white squash hanging from its branches BUT its lower leaves are turning yellow. I'm such a newbie that I don't know if this just happens to vine leaves as they age, or whether I need to add something to the water-resevoir. The squash (2 plants to be exact) were planted with the recommend soil and the ferts that came with the EB--I did add the packet of dolomitic lime that came with the EB as well.
Thanks in advance for the help.

HR, mighty fine looking plants you've got there...what are using for fertilizer? Elephant manurer? I planted my corn in a different location this year and it's only 3-4' tall and looks pretty puny! But it is producing decent size ears.

Welcome aboard!

Thanks, HR--I'll just leave the winter squash vines alone. The squash are beginning to color up.
Appreciate the response.
Thanks.
PS: That's some serious looking tool you've got.
