bunny poop

Marin, CA(Zone 9b)

My neighbour has a bunny and lots of poop he gives to me. It has dried grass clippings and something that looks like alfalfa pellets in it.
Can I dress up my plants with it, or do I have to cook it in the composter first?

My grandfather kept rabbits for years just for the poop. It went straight to the gardens. My grandmother always had the best gardens on the block and the rabbit poo was all that was ever used.
Thanks for bringing back such wonderful childhood memories.

We build new garden beds from a mix of bunny stuff and leaf compost. It is superb.

Thank you, I'm gonna toss it all over the beds!!!

I have wild bunnies all over the place, with little bits of poop here and there, but nothing like what I had when my kids had a pet rabbit many moons ago! Boy, were those nice flower beds!

Christie, your gardens are looking absolutely beautiful!

I had no idea bunny poop was so potent!!! I'll let you know what difference I notice after a few weeks!
Thanks a bunch Murmur; I completely neglect my house this time of year; all my time I spend in my tiny micro orchard!
