Originally from Opelika,Al. known as the HUB OF EAST ALABAMA. I decided to move north and made it 30 miles up interstate 85. That was 23 years ago.
Born and raised in Minnesota and am back now after spending 16 years in New Mexico. Wish I could get a good batch of green Chile here.

JSS, Thanks for the offer. We have a good supply of dried chile that we brought with us. But, it's just not as good as the fresh green. Oh, the smell of roasting chile in the Fall.

Southwest GA, Camilla.. Hot, humid and gnats galore,the bugs, snakes and all the other critter's are just part of the territory..Some of the best food in the country and friendly folks all around, and I could never imagine living anywhere else..I am only 65 miles north of Tallahassee, FL.. 200 miles south of Atlanta..Born here and hope to die here..LOL
