Squirrels eating

Squirrels are eating my figs. Also, birds. Is there anything I can do keep them out of my figs?

Squirrels eat my sunflowers and chew on the canopies on my garden swing. I haven't found a good solution for keeping them from things.
I used to have a problem with birds eating my strawberries I used bird netting but it's a real pain to use. Last year I adopted a new dog that kills birds (I did not know this when we got her.) The birds and squirrels no longer come into my yard that often. The only problem is now the dog eats all the strawberries AND the raspberries!

I have a dog but he does not bother the birds and squirrels. The deer come in our yard and rabbits and racoons and opposums do the same. The dog does not bark at them. He only barks when visitors began to leave. I guess the animals need food too. I eat what I want and let them have the rest. Thanks for your comments....gn
