My beautiful garden phlox

Salem, KY

This plant came from my great grandmother's garden originally. I am 56 so that was years ago. I just call it garden phlox. If you recognize it having another name please let me know.

Thank you so much. I didn't notice how pretty the setting was and the effect until I sat down and looked through all the photos I had taken more throughly. I impressed myself! That's unusual! Ha
You know what I do nothing to them. A little watering in the hot part of summer and that is it.

The mildew problem is quite common on some types of Phlox, but the best way to try keep it at bay is to make sure the plants dont suffer in the hot dry weather as that is the kind of conditions mildew like, soon as a plant is week or suffering from any comditions that come with dry or humid weather it loves it, spreads and causes the plants to grow the mould, it very rarely kils plants, but I normaly cut them back to save it spreading, the plants should come back next year.hope this helps a bit.
