Great Site for Mail Order and Wonderful Plants

Liverpool, NY(Zone 5a)

For the best quality plants I have found through mail order and the best customer service, try www.songsparrow.com. They have lots of new varieties of many plants and their representatives are knowledgable and helpful. I give them an A+++++
I'm an avid gardener and was amazed at the size, condition and packing of the plants ordered.

You should share your good experience with them in the Garden Watchdog--here's their entry

Hi Strell, good to herar that you had such glowing results from your new suplier, it is not too much of a prob for us in the UK, I have been really lucky with what mail order I have had, but I found a really good nursery quite close to where I live, being a nursery rather than just a garden centre, they actually grow most of their stock, so you know it will survive local to where they are growing them, they do have to import all there trees, but they dont put them on sale till the following season, then they are sure they will be fine in the climate we have, this is fairly unusual for a nursery to wait a season before sale, but it really is great that they want customer satisfaction rather than plant returns, the most trouble we have here, is from places like Home base, B an Q DIY, they never seem to employ anyone who actually cares for the plants, they throw a bit of water around and hope it hits the plants etc, if you dont get to the store the day the plants arrive, then forget it, they are dead by the end of the week, at the end of the day, the customer is paying for the losses as they will be covered for that in their pricing. it's good to pass on anything that will bennifit the gardeners such as you have done as gardening and supplies are not cheep, so thanks and happy gardening. WeeNel.
