Are dragonflies harmful to tomato plants? I have these plants in containers on my deck. I heard dragonflies are the 'good' pest because they eat mosquitoes. We live in a moderately wooded area surrounding by wetlands and lakes. I typically see these guys resting on the leaves. Thanks for your help!
Dragonflies & Tomato Plants
Relax and enjoy them. That must be a handy perch for them, and maybe they'll help keep your deck clear of mosquitos!
Dragonflies are insectivorous: they eat other insects. They may rest on your tomato plants, but they won't eat them.
