In the pocket of big helenium money again. This is Helena Mix, I have seen a Helena Red Shades sold too - could be the same.

I didn't make up these names, this is Red/Gold Hybrids - mine is all gold and all 7' tall.

This is Moerheim Beauty, this has a mix of colors to it.

Some of the red ones will change/soften a bit over age. I'll post fuller shots later with final colors.


Victor - yesish - it's along the chain link fence and tied to it. They are fairly strong and just become a bit looser if left alone.

The only one I ordered was Ruby Tuesday, although it's local now. They shoud be available local for you here and there. Do you have the Plantspotters line for sale in your area?

Spring - yes. Although they will do fine whenever you plant them. Almost always some left at end of season sales at places.

Not a blossom yet - but BUDS! These are delphinium I winter-sowed; I never expected blooms this year. These are Pacific Giant Blue Bird. Don't you think they will look great with the red poppies?

Incredible pictures everyone! It took me a long time to catch up.
My daugter (14) picked up the Harry Potter book at midnight Friday/ Saturday. By the endof Saturday she had devoured all 739 pages.

Speaking of HP ~ it arrived in yesterday's mail at about 3:30PM. My granddaughter read it through to the end. She finished it at 1:30AM. And yes, she WAS sitting out under the mailbox waiting for the mailman to show.

I'm only 2 chapters in because: couldn't compete with DW & DD for our 2 copies of the book, I finished "rereading" book 6 on CD before starting book 7, I'm a slow reader.

So far they have kept it from me and so far I'm on vacation (until Tues.). We were in and out of Grand Central the day before the steam pipe explosion. Didn't do too much this time. We will go to Maine in August.
