How much to thin my veggies?

Kremmling, CO(Zone 4a)

Most of my veggies are finally showing there true leaves, some of them 2 sets, and I think its time to thin them down. My husand disagrees that they need to be thinned, but I want to make sure the plants are given as much chance as I can to produce good veggies. Can anyone give me tips for how far apart to thin the following veggies?

Cucumbers
Zucchini Squash
Corn
Carrots
Snap Peas
Beets
Onions
Green Onions
Radishes
Bush Beans

Most of this info is in Plantfiles, but I don't aways agree, so here is my table.

Cucumber- I grow these on three foot diameter cages. plants spaced 6 inches apart around the perimeter of the cage. Cages 4 -5 feet apart.
Zuchinni- two plants in a hill . Hills are spaced 42 inches apart. Same for crooknecks, straightnecks and scallops.
Corn - main season - 15 - 18 inches in 42 inch rows. Early corn with small stalks, I may plant as close as 12 inches.
Carrot thin to 2-3 inches apart.
Snap peas I just plant 2-3 inches apart, never thinned them
Beet - thin to 2-3 inches
onion - I don't start from seed, but I set them 2-6 inches apart depending on the expected harvest size. You don't want full grown onions bumping into each other.
Green onion, bunching onion, scallion 1-2 inches apart. Again I use sets or plants so no thinning.
Radishes ; European 2 inches, Oriental 6 inches.
Bush beans - I don't thin but plant 2-3 inches apart in 36 inch rows.
