Hi All! First let me say that I am new to this site and I am so glad I have found you!
I have a long bed of periwinkle under a line of decorative pear trees that was planted about 7 years ago. It was doing ok, although it was always a little patchy in some areas. This past winter I lost about 75% of the bed. What is left looks pretty healty. I have raked the soil to soften it and have watered to keep the soil moist but not wet. I have also added Osmicote and raked that in. Any other ideas to speed up the regrowth? Do you think that any of my steps are wrong? The bed gets morning sun, then dappled afternoon sun.
periwinkle died back
Thanks for the feedback, Chrissy! I'll just have to continue with the TLC.
