Hi, I'm new here. Have questions about daisies. I've had beautiful daisy blooms for about 2 months now and all of a sudden all the blooms are dying or dead. Should I cut these back? Will I get a second round of flowers? Am I doing something wrong? It has been quite hot here, but I've been watering daily and everything else in the garden looks okay. I don't see any sign of insects or disease. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Daisies should be 'deadheaded'. This means that when the flower has started looking kind of tired, You take off the blooms. This fools the plant into thinking that it hasn't set seeds yet, so it blooms again to try and reproduce.

If you've waited till the flowers are actually dead looking, you might not get a rebloom. I'd cut the stalks back by about 1/3. Take off blooms and leaves, make the whole thing shorter.

I'm not sure about your climate, as you are in OR, and I am in KY, but we still have a very long, hot, growing season ahead of us and the 'haircut' would stimulate the plant into putting out new growth and possibly blooms here.

Hi I'm new, My daisys have started to fall over so I cut them down, hopefully I will get another flowering later on this year!
