Anyone know what this is? For some reason I had it labeled as a datura...
ID this mystery plant?
Hi the tripscaptain, it looks like the annual datura, to me, these only grow one season for me and then you either collect the seeds for next year or let it die a death, to keep them flowering, you must deadhead all the spent flowers, the foliage is quite pungent and I would wash hands after deadheading these. they may be poisonous if eaten ????? Good luck, WeeNel.
none of the rest of them look like this... all of my daturas were planted from the same seeds...i'm thinking perhaps i just mislabeled this plant
Your plant looks a little like trumpet vine. I took out a big one that was getting way too much shade, and I'm getting these all over the place!
Hmm... I didn't plant any trumpet vines. I'm thinking now that its probably just a weed that found its way into this pot...or a tree perhaps. we've got this tree that drops thousands of seeds each year. I suppose i'll just let it grow and try to ID it when its older lol.
it's starting to branch out, as well
