Hi Nwad, can you give more details of the problem, like dead foliage or drooping, fungus etc, the plants do need plent watering in the growing season, but not too wet like sitting in a dish of water under the pot, if a house plant, they like a liquide feed about every 2 weeks in the growing period, also indoors plenty of light but not in direct sun like on a windowsill as that will scorch the plant as the glass will act like a magnifying glass, If you are absolutely sure the plant is suffering from too much water, then if you have any plant left, get it out of the pot, remove as much of the old soil as pos cut away any dead or rotted roots and replant it into NEW potting compost, add some gravel or broken crocks to the bottom of the pot to act like drainage and the plant cant sit with water around the roots, and give it a rest for a few days before you start to water it, try water it from the bottom by placeing the pot into a bowl of water and as the potting soil changes to a darker shade because of the water intake, lift it out and let it drain off till no more water runs from the pot, then sit it back into a good light area, also add some liquide plant food to the water in the bowl while you soak the plant, this way you will be able to judge how much water it took up for future watering, try not to wet the foliage of this plant as it will cause rot, also keep the leaves free from dust and soil spills as they need air to circulate the foliage but not a draft from open door or windows, hope this helps you, Weenel.
