Sugar Peas all crinkly and tough

I planted in early May. Last year the sugar peas were great, this year they are tough and crinkly looking. I water regularly. Whats the matter?

Did you plant them in the same place as last Year? You need to rotate and not plant in the same place each year. We were farmers for 15 years and had to rotate the crops each year. Soil test will let you know what you need in the soil. take care........gn
