Tomato Leaves turning yellow

I have a early girl tomato plant that has made lots of tomaotes that all the leaves are turning yellow. I have fertlized it and it has not helped. Can someone tell me whaat to do. This is how it looked June 9, 2007

Tomato does not have any leaves now. I picked them off since they were dead. The stalk is still green. Some green tomatoes still on it. Take care.........gn

My tomato plants seem to be wilting one at a time. In addition to sprinkling blood meal around to keep any animals away, someone also told me that it might perk up the plants. Good luck.

I had one to wilt very badly. I moved it to the shade tree and took off all the leaves and all the ripest tomatoes. It has now started to put on new leaves and it is looking great. It will survive now. Got another that turned yellow and the leaves have died. I have moved it to the shade and cut all the leaves off today. Hope it will come back out again.

See if you have nematodes. It sounds like your maters are potted. Gently examine the roots for knots (nematodes symptom). Examine underside of bottom leaves and yellow leaves for pests. I did that to my maters and found snails.... I killed them with beer trap. Make sure you water with drip irrigation, not leaf spray and have good drainage.

After this, all should be well.

I found that I had not put holes in the container. It drowned from all the rain. I haave put holes andgot it out of the sun right now hoping it might come back out. I have started some shoots in the trench like some one suggested. I would like some late tomatos. They were looking great late yesterday after a rain. I hope they root.
