Isn't it amazing? This one's also called 'Harper's too lazy to go look at the tag'
Whats blooming today? #4
Harper...you've been holding out on us! Very nice blooms, I love "President" and that gnome.
Dave, could your Lily be "Centerfold"?
WOW! What did you feed it? It really is stunning though!
I LOVE your lilies, Harper - and the clemantis, President, is gorgeous.
Thanks Michaela!
Sonfonisba...great pics!!! I especially love that Cancun lily! Gorgeous! Tamara
Looks great Harper!! Funny I have many of the same plants only mine are called 'Victor is too lazy...'! That Hydrangea is definitely not petiolaris - it looks like a regular macrophylla. I have Raspberry Wine that's doing well also - but not 70"!!
Celeste, I don't think that one was 'Centerfold' - I didn't see any staples. Of course, all centerfolds require closer examination.
I LOVE how beautiful your Hydrangea is Harper :)
Kim
Celeste, please just tell us which DLs you DON'T have!! Very nice.
Harper - Like your Sea Holly, mine is a generic floppy one - how is yours? Your red/white & blue pic with the President is nice. That is big monarda - I think mine is 4' or so. Your hydrangea isn't right. I think I have the one you mentioned - I could get a pic(no Flowers yet)
Neter - Looks good, you must be getting slow in your old age.
Dave - Hi Dave
nice yellow lily.
Celeste - I like Bridgeton Hoopla and Magic Lace
Harper, I forgot to say - I have 'Early Sunrise' that not only does well, but is always re-seeding and popping up in the general vicinity. It's not a nuisance though. It thrives on neglect. Very drought tolerant once established (most famous words in gardening!). If you get them going okay, try moving some of your Shasta Daisies near them - they make a nice combo.
Looks like I missed a lot this weekend while camping. I quickly browsed through the pics to try and catch up and they are all beautiful. I'm lucky to still have anything standing after two bad storms on Friday. Here is a new daylily I have, called Wine Delight. I took the pic before the first storm because I was afraid it was going to be ruined. We went to our camp site between the two storms. When I get a pic from my daughter of what is left of a tree after lightning struck it (in the campgound we were at), I'll post it. "The tree ain't blooming anymore"!! Lightning from the first storm also struck a house about a mile from where I live and burned it. Very scarey storms. Eleanor
where do you go camping, Eleanor? DH and I love camping.
As usual - amazing photos. I thought of all of you today. I went to the Planting Fields Arboretum today with my friend. http://www.plantingfields.org/ . Here are some pics..
Wow, I miss PF so much. I have to make a pilgrimage there one day. I don't remember those light colored gravel walkways. Thanks for posting that Anita.
That Forget Me Not looks well looked after, Al.
