Kim, South China is about 20 minutes from Augusta, no where near Peru. I am 34 mins. from Belfast, 20 mins. from Waterville too.
No you don't leave Calla's outside unless you want to buy more in the spring.
Kassia, the last photo with the spots on the leaves almost looks like a "Jack-in-the-Pulpit".

Al, not Lollipop, this is LP.

Sounds like I live in several different countries doesn't it? I'll have to take a picture of the sign in our town........you'll get a giggle out of it.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

What great photos from everyone!

Celeste: so glad to see one of the mallow. I was afraid that people would laugh if we put one or two in the garden as it's pretty much a wild weed around these parts - but the flowers are so beautiful, aren't they? I'm not sure, though, which mallow you are showing in the photo. Ours run from almost white to pink to a blueish-lavendar color. Self-seeders, I think, and we'll have to watch where they decide to take root again. But, like I said - they are so pretty!!

And the rose that DH gave you for Valentine's Day is heavenly!! So sweet of him to provide roses that won't fade and die in less than a week. Less expensive, too!!

I'll be sending in some photos of my own soon - in a few minutes in fact.

Candyce,
This mallow has gotten really big this year. I planted it from seed a few summers ago and it is about 3-4' tall this year with multiple blooms!

That's a beautiful mallow specimum!!!! We 'discovered' our growing on the back hill, a place we rarely visit as it is so steep. Anna plans on watching them for seeds and then trying to grow them in a different area next season so that they can be enjoyed.

Our first rose of the season:

And some nice 'zinnias in a barrel':

And, here's one of our 'container' gardens. Yes, I know that we have to get the weed-whacker out and run it through its paces.

That's all I have. I know I post a lot of cosmos, but they are so photogenic in the different shades and then they change color as they age.

Blackberries look good. ES looks nice - what is your pH there?
