Plug trays, where to buy lots of plants?

Denver, CO(Zone 6a)

I am looking to get lots of thyme for my garden and I need to get plug trays but don't know where to buy them. Anyone have a good source that sell to the general public!

I've ordered from them when I wanted to liriope over part of my yard. The plants were very healthy, excellent packing system. You just have to check with them constantly to see what the availability is. They do not require a tax code and will sell to anyone as long as you meet a minimum purchase price of $100.

Thanks!, I am thinking of liriope in a small area. How does it handle foot traffic? I have three dogs and am trying different things because a lawn is impossible.

mobi, if you can't grow grass because of the foot traffic, i don't think you'll grow anything for foottraffic. my suggestion is to lay pavers for the walking path and then something
stickery like roses or something bushy or tall to keep them off the areas you don;'t want them walking on.

I have three dogs and nothing holds up to their foot traffic except for weeds, lol. If it is a heavily traveled area, I would probably do what Len suggested and do some sort of pavers. The liriope I put in is in the front, which doesn't get alot of traffic and it holds up well.

You are so right. I am trying clover now and it dies easily under the urine. I have no lawn, thanks to the dogs, so I put in intermittent pavers and grass and clover between them but right now it looks weedy and unattractive. Next I'm going to try playground grass and see if that does anything. I keep looking for something that will work though.

The area I'm working with is for them as all the other areas are planted and have paths through them, which they love to explore but they need an area they can lounge around on. So far the best thing I've found is Fleur de lawn which handles the urine ok, but I still have dirt spots where they walk.

I once saw a camomile lawn and it was wonderful, people were walking on it, must admit, never saw any of them urinate though, he, he he, also a lot of people here in UK are laying one of the thymes speices as lawn, because of the lack of rain in south UK (wish I had their problem up here in Scotland) and I understand that will take a bit of beating for heavy walking on, did'nt pay much attention to the type, but it was very, very low growing and got cut once per year to keep it bushy and low, so maybe worth exploreing these two things, also they both smell nice and keep some bite insects away, maybe not bees though, so you will have to be carefull about that with dogs in mind. hope you find something to suit, good luck, Weenel.

Thank you. I haven't looked into a camomile lawn.
