I bought a dwarf peach tree and planted it in remembrance of my Grandfather that passed long ago. I used to get the most succulent peaches from the peach tree in his back yard. So here is my peach tree, Nathan, named after my maternal grandfather. Here are my kids, thing one and thing two, standing with it!

New addition to the family
OK, OK, no jokes about the sideways picture. I forgot to rotate it in my image editor before I attached it, and unfortunately I can only edit the text. That's what happens when you have a bad cold.
Aw, what CUTE kids!
Gardening (and the taste of fresh produce) is also something that brings back great family memories for me as well. I think planting a peach tree in honor of your grandfather is such a wonderful thing to do. :)
Thanks, BDale! I am trying to create wonderful memories for them so that they can have cherish their childhood always.
Thanks, Garden!!!
If I'm Aunt Judy don't the children get to spend some time with me???
Judy
Sure! I'd love to come to Tennessee to visit!
Thing one and thing two are cute! Have you been reading Dr. Suess? Honoring your grandfather is great.
DigMontana...Dr. Seuss is one of my all time favorite children's authors (Judy Blumes is my second favorite) and I read his books all the time to the little ones (and the big boy too who's almost 12).
You mean you read "Ribsey?!!"
Ribsy isn't by Judy Blume, it's by Beverly Cleary. Sorry, I didn't read it. I had to look it up. Judy Blume wrote lots of stuff like Frecklejuice, Blubber, Superfudge, and Are you there, God, it's me Margaret.
