n00b question: I cannot seem to identify this plant

Kalamazoo, MI(Zone 5b)

I have been through the USDA/NRCS website to help identify this plant that showed up in my garden. I was wondering if someone could tell me if the leaves are cordate, if it has palmate venation and I think the leaf arrangement is alternate. The one thing that is throwing me for a loop are the bulbs/flowers. There are no other plants of this nature(no pun intended) in my neighborhood. If it were up to me I'd name it the plantus-donthaveaclueus of the couldnttellyou geneus. Have a look-see:

It looks to me like something in the Cucurbitaceae family, which is made up of things like squash & melons, probably other stuff as well. Sorry I can't give you anything more specific than that, I don't grow anything from this family and there are literally thousands in Plant Files

I loved your plant names. I think it is the Sinnus whichamajiblus. I named it after you. I, too haven't a clue but just wanted to get in on the fakus namus game.

Looks like a button weed to me. Are the leaves velvety? I find them easy to pull.

Looks like Velvetleaf.

Yes, I agree with bigcityal and 7oaks
It is button weed aka velvetleaf.
They are easy to pull when small.
It stinks too.
