Propagating a spider plant

Hello,

I wanted to know if you can propagate spider plants by removing a leaf and planting it in soil?

You should post this in the beginner gardening or beginner houseplant forum, you'll find more help there. I don't think you can do them that way though. They will eventually make little baby spider plants (look like little mini plants growing off the mama plant), you can separate those and plant them.
