When I was out and about today I passed a new housing development where they were working on the landscape. Around the large trees and shrubs they had quite a few new flower beds starting.
One combination caught my eye, I am writing it down for next year.
The tall plants were lemon yellow (I'm not sure what they are though, they were neater than coreopsis but the same type of look), med plants were a type of wax begonias that looked bright red in quantity (& bright green leaves) the third was the violet color petunia (wave).
Lemon yellow, Bright red, bright violet.
I'll attach a couple of photos just to show the colors. I didn't have my camera today.
Cool plant combination I saw today .......
