We are going to put grass in soon....any other suggestions.
our front yard
Hi Denise, everything really depends on what sort of garden you want, like wild and wooly, manicured or mixture of shrubs beds/borders etc, I would sugest before you do any more work, you go along to a book store or librery and get a few books on beginners landscaping and border ideas, then you will know exactly what you DONT like, but you will get a taste of what you can achieve all in stages and what plants will suit your climate, I could give you loads of named plants, trees or shrubs, but if you dont want a lot of looking after plants then it is a waist of time, maybe your at work all day and can only spend weekends doing the garden, maybe you have a young family and dont want certain plants, so a decent book will give you hints and ideas to get you started, but if you already know what you kind of like are are just unsure how or when to do it, then get back here and I will help you further as I am sure some others will do also, good luck. WeeNel.
our lawn is browning a bit,,,,we are watering morning and afternoon to make sure it doesnt dry,,,,i think when we picked it up and had it sit in the truck for part the day it got messed up....will it come back after watering?
