Good timing for leaving my garden

I am leaving my small Maryland garden for a few days to attend a conference in California. The timing is perfect!!! While I will miss inspecting every plant and looking for things to fix or change..... the weather there will be excellent and no so good here. Here, predictions of 30-40% rain and 91 degrees. There - nearly the same every day 81 degrees..

So, I can probably worry less about whether everything is getting enough water.... as it will likely rain at least one day. So as much as I will miss it.... I will not miss it too much.

Now I have to finish packing.... and get off of DG...

Hope by the time you read this you will be safely back home and you garden will still be in good shape. I am always anxious to get back home and see how my plants have fared while I was away. LIZ
