Thanks to all of you, happy getting to know you and some of you in person, what fun that was.
Here are some photos from last summer, when I was there in the Weeds(eweed) back yard, looking at Mt. Baker in the Cascades.
RU pictures.... enjoy!!!!
OK. After seeing pictures of that garden - I am downsizing my yard to "stinking dirt hole" or SDH as I shall now refer to it. What a bright spot!
BEAUTIFUL!!!! Have a wonderful time Maria.
LOL Yankee!!
Harper
LOL Yankee, I don't dare show you any more pictures
No way Maria. Those gardens were so beautiful. More, more! They inspire.
Maria - it's OK. I can dream and who knows - maybe the gardening fairy will come and visit me with ten thousand reinforcements some night and transform it into a real garden.
I will take more pictures, will show them to you when I come back in August
Man, oh man! I can't wait for August! Those gardens, even the onions are spectacular! Thank you so much for sharing them Maria. Have a nice trip!
Maria,
first of all let me send you my condolences.I didn't have any idea of his passing. You sound like you had a most wonderful marriage and even more wonderful memories to reminisce on.
I would like to wish you a safe trip and a great time with your friends.Take alot of pictures and if they have a computer maybe you can post them before August.Would love to see them.
Thank you all for the 43rd wedding anniversary wishes and BTW my husband does NOT care about my gardening but brags about it when I am not around.Or so he says anyway;-)
He does the heavy work for me and also has planted some trees but stays away from flowers.
My husband started caring about the garden this year, when we started getting compliments from the neighbours . . . but he ALWAYS cared about the lawn.
Seandor, lol, lawns are a man thing, mine is full of weeds now :-((
Edited to clean up my typos, and add I do not know how to type, so sad because I can not see very well

Thanks, Englantyne, as I said before time heals
Not this man!! Hate the lawn. Would love to replace it with something else. Just don't know what the else is.
Patio?
I'm talking about the entire garden!!
Pixie,
I got a baby blues too. It just bloomed this morning here in Saugus. I love it.
Thanks!!!
Hope your hubby is doing better.
Martha
Well, Victor - turn it into an outdoor ballroom (e.g. very big patio) complete with gardens. You could rent out your yard for weddings!
Victor,
what do you grow usually ?
Maria, my dear friend, have a great time... what a view... and that garden is what I have in my dreams... a garden that is filled with all kinds of flowers... (no roses???) lol!!!
please find a computer and send some pictures... we will go for ice cream at Rehoboth (Uncle Ed's Front Porch) when you come back... I just heard John (the ice cream man!!!) has created some new and interesting flavors!!!!
see you!
Eglantyne - the list is way too long! A bit of everything, I guess.
Eglantyne, Victor mostly grows older. ;^)
Maria, Have a wonderful trip! It is beautifull!
LOL.
x, C
Thanks Dave!!!
Maria, have a lovely trip and thank you for sharing those beautiful photos! That sunset is magnificent!!! This is one trip you must be looking forward to.
Martha, I'm so glad Baby Blue's bloomed already for you! I love the soft pastel colors in it.
Thanks for the good wishes, DH is going to get the cast off this coming Weds. He's really excited as he gets a walking cast now and will be able to get around alittle better.
Hurray for your DH! My mother's having her knee replaced next month. Yuck.
xx, C
Great news Celeste. Give him my best. Rehab / recovery will take quite some time. He must be sick of being laid up so long - especially in nice weather!
I can see him riding it with his cast sticking out the side!!
He told me to start it and just stick on the cruise control and he'll take it from there. At this point I promptly removed the key and put it in my pocket.
Good move!
