plant for a bathroom window?

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

i have a west-facing bathroom window above my shower that gets incredible amounts of afternoon sun. any ideas for a plant that might grow here? (in a pot or planter, of course. it'll be indoors)

come on, garden geniuses!

For me it would have to be pelargonium (pot geranium) but any annuals would do the trick.

i have my jade plants on the bathroom windowsill, they love the sun there and go red at the edges..

I have a trailing ivy in my west facing bathroom window and it does excellent and require almost no attention other than a weekly watering.

Mother in Law's tongue does great in my west bathroom window.

Can I assume that, being a bathroom, it has frosted glass at the window (modesty and all that). If so, an old aunt of mine used to grow an orchid on her bathroom window sill (Lycaste, from memory, I think it was). Most orchids like a damp atmosphere and not too much direct sunlight, so it sounds like a good option.

Pothos Ivy, Wandering Jew, and Pepperomia and String of Beads.

How about the common Pansy? I've never tried those plants inside. Another idea... how about some Orchids? Certain kinds of Orchids like a fair amount of light and the moist air in the bathroom wouldn't hurt at all! Some orchids are really nice scented plants when they are blooming... what a great place to have a pleasant scent! LOL.
