I have a question . My woodland phlox grew very leggy - at least two feet tall - and when it rained, it laid over and stayed there. So now it looks pretty awful. Can I cut it back to a few inches tall, or will I be cutting off next year's flowers? This is the first year they have been in so I have no experience about how they are supposed to do. While they were blooming, they were wonderfully fragrant. Any suggestions?

Hi jacqui2,
If you post your question on the forum in the link below, you would have a better chance of finding someone who can help. http://davesgarden.com/forums/f/b_gardentalk/all/
This forum that we are in now is mostly for questions concerning the PlantFiles database, and not frequented by many members.
There are lots of good informational/helpful forums on Dave's Garden. Some you have to be a subscriber to read beyond the first post and reply, but there's still lots of forums that you don't have to be a paying subscriber to participate in. The link I provided above is one of them.
