Do you know what this is?

Warwick, RI(Zone 6a)

I have a few plants in the garden that I have no idea what they are. Any help would be appreciated.

This one was a really nicely shaped "ball" when I planted it. It has little yellow flowers when it blooms. I don't like what it looks like now. Knowing what it is would help me decide what to do with it. It's about 24" high.

Here's another one. Anyone?

Number 1 - possibly Euphorbia? Number 2 could be a Potentilla shrub, and number 3 looks like a threadleaf coreopsis. I could be very wrong though :-)

I think #1 might be a sedum. I agree with Ginny about #3 being a coreopsis, that's what it looks like to me too. It's got buds on it so you should know for sure soon.

That's it! That's what I couldn't think of the name of - Sedum :-)

Windsor, ON(Zone 6a)

I agree with ginnylynn, My fellow Canadian... #1 is sedum for sure. #2 is potentilla for sure, and should get yellow or white flowers any second now. As for #3, not sure yet. But would fathom a vague guess that it is some sort of herbaceous perennial... How much more vague can I get?...

# 1 is Showy Stonecrop or botanically - Sedum 'Matrona'
