It's true though. We tell them in certain ways to stay out of the yard and it never works.

I digress......wombats and armadillos must be of the same blood. An armadillo can destroy a flowerbed overnight. Love this mailbox thing.

Because I am Retired .
I drive around a lot looking for new Mountains to climb .
And I always have my camera with me , So I can't resist .
It is also fun to share with all my DG friends .
We DO have a lot of fun here on DG .

Yes we do! I haven't worked (retired implies money) in about 5 years. DH retired last OCT. Still adjusting.

No weird mailboxes here otherwise I would take pics.

That is a PITA when he does that. I get payback though by grabbing his fingers and holding them tight enough he can't break the grip easily. And his feet are veeerry ticklish. Payback everytime. LOL

Hey, great thread, Ginger! I have a letter box for you. I call this one "Mailboxer". LOL

That is cute!!!

This one I dubbed the Redneck Mailbox. All I can think is, his original must have been run down by a car. The metal post to its right points toward the right, so anyone hitting that mailbox now would find his car's radiator speared. And anyone who comes from the left would find concrete blocks going through his windshield! There is duct tape holding the mailbox to the ladder, too.

The owner has since replaced it with a "normal" one. Pity! It always made me smile when I passed it on my way to work.

I need to show that to my dad. We might be able to use that idea for one. lol
