Ginger, first time I've seen one, what a great idea..half the time I think people carry the bags just for show, I watch them on their way back and bags are empty...hmmmmm

LOL That's great! Emusing, even.

We also have problems with people dumping stuff in the creeks. Ruins the creeks. And we have trash service. I hope one day to get a nice revenge. Like hiding and scaring them off or catching them on video.

No doggie bags around here. Small towns, lots of country side-for now.

Ginger, nice what ever that is. :~)

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Looks like 5 Green Swans ?????

Thats good. I used to work at a sports shop and met a nice gent that was from Australia. He worked here in Mi for the summer. He was an avid biker (street bike, fast, motor) He said he was scared of hitting a deer.
I asked him about kanagroos, he said, "they are nothing, they will just kill you ....it is the wombats, they are like huge speedbumps, hurts bad when you hit one".
I thought it was a funny remark. I still don't know what a wombat is. But I know they will flip a bike, pedal or motor.
Thanks for the picture! If that sign was here, there would be alot of head scratching.

This Pic was taken in north Queensland .

Wombats are cute - at least they are before you run over them with your bike: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wombat

Gladwin, MI(Zone 5a)

Interesting critter. I think they can keep that one. Sounds like quite the animal.
Wombat stew anyone? (roadkill of course)

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

LOL.

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Yes Marylyn_TX you are right there .

They are not as commonly seen as many animals, but leave ample evidence of their passage, treating fences as a minor inconvenience to be gone through or under and leaving distinctive cubic scats.

I took this Pic 2 weeks ago @ Girraween NP.
This is what they do to the walking tracks over night .

LOL. Most people here in the States would paint it either Green/Yellow for john Deere or Red/White for Farmerall (sp?).

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

We have John Deer here as well .
Only thing is they are mace in CHINA ???????
So much for being American . :o((

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

There are some made here still too. We are NOT John Deere fans. We like Ford and Farmerall. Every time we see one for sale on the sides of the road my dad and I look at each other then at mom. She sees the tractors and our looks and says no. LOL. She knows us well.

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Mothers are no fun , are they ?

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

LOL. Not when they are holding the checkbook!!

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

If you work , you should have your own chq account .
Or does she look after that as well ?

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

I wouldn't be the one buying it. My parents would. We went to a tractor show one year and my dad found one he wanted. It was reeeeaaaalllllly nice. He walked up to mom who was talking to someone else. He asked for the checkbook, she said ok and gave it to him. No questions asked. A little while later she found him over by the tractor getting ready to make a check out for the trac. Took the checkbook away and ever since has been saying no. LOL. She learned the hard way. LOL

Dispatcher: 9-1-1 What is your emergency?
Caller: I heard what sounded like gunshots coming from the brown
house on the corner.
Dispatcher: Do you have an address?
Caller: No, I have on a blouse and slacks, why?

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

LOL!!

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

This one might scare the Postman away ???

These are really something. I don't know if the gov't allows things quite that fancy here. I have seen some creative boxes, but they always have a real mailbox stuck in the center and they work around it.
You have quite the entertainment on your biking trips.

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

Some people would use that to keep unwanted company away. lol
