June Bingo Calls
Poor Janet! I'm sorry! Maybe tomorrow you'll get them all. But don't forget those "biggest loser" prizes - they make it alright to not get any calls! LOL
Lin, to the best of my knowledge, everything on the list is in the Gessie family. :o)
LOL....I am not complaining....I have been very fortunate in my Bingo games....so I am happy to participate and enjoy the banter and the information you are providing! It always gets really close at the end!
PLUS...I won first place last month...so don't feel sorry for me..lol I got some beautiful daylilies for my garden with my gifts!
Does anyone know of a source for that Nautiocalyx Plant?? I've googled and can't find it anywhere! Is it rare? Maybe that's why I've never heard of it before!
I got another one!!!
Lin,nautocalyx seem to be hard to come by...of course you could join the Gesneraids Society & then buy seeds...lol
Great info on the bingo plants raingazer!
MsC
Woohoo! I got both today! I mean, yesterday! Where did the day go anyway...?
LOL..wish I had lost four!
Calls are up! :o)
14.Chirita 'Cynthia'
Chiritas are some of the easiest of the Gessies for me to grow, which also makes them some of my favorite members of the family.

26.Phinaea multiflora
Rhizomatous Gesneriad which needs to be grown in a terrarium to maintain the needed high humidity. I know nothing about this one, but I like it anyway! :oP

LOL...I am now 0 for 6 ....keep 'em coming ...lol
You have *got* to be kidding me, Janet!! Sounds like you've already used up every drop of Bingo luck you had. LOL Maybe I'll post another call later... ;o)
Lin, I haven't really looked for a Nautilocalyx to purchase, so I don't know if they're available or not. MsC is right about the Gesneriad Society. I joined, and keep saying I'm going to order some seeds, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. You should look into it, might be something you'd enjoy. :o)
Ki, I wondered how you'd pick your list. I'm sure you are familiar with pretty much everything on there, if not all of it. Glad you got both calls yesterday!
Susan, is it possible to lose one pound and only gain that one back? 'Cause if I lose any, I usually gain back double. LOL That's my excuse for not dieting, and I'm sticking to it. :oP
LOL..I think you may be right...
hmm. Neither today.
Janet, did you pick from the right list? roflol.
ROFLOL
I got another one!!!!
Wow this is so easy...
Good day ladies!
MsC
Hmph....easy ... smeasy.....LOL
Janet you wanna share my card????
I'm sure between the 2 of us we can "bingo" at some point..lol
MsC
LOL, no I am just having a ball! Like I Rain said, I think I used all my Bingo luck last month...if I am going to have a dry spell though I just as soon have it early!
Well, maybe you will be "The Biggest Loser" ??? it gets a prize to...which kinda makes you a winner,too..lol
MsC :D
lol...that is true!
LOL Y'all are so funny! Janet, you might be the first one ever to make it through an entire game and not get any calls at all! ;o) Nah, surely that's not possible... LOL
LOL...only if I used the wrong list completely.....lol wouldn't that be a hoot....but I didn't...I may just be a come from behind kind of gal! LOL

Hey peeps, I see you are having fun with out me : 0 (
I am just dropping by to let you know what happened to me and why i am not playing.
My 12 year old autistic son got caught (by me) stealing yu-gi-oh cards from wal-mart shortly after I last posted. We had run out on an errand and it just got ugly. He did not get to got to his Tourettes Syndrome camp we have been looking forward to for a year and had to deal with loss prevention (My very difficult decision). I immediately spiraled into a terrible depression. I sometimes have a very hard time dealing with the things that God thinks I can do. LOL. I hope that you can forgive my lack of communication, and that you all continue to have fun and win this month, because I am gonna kick ya'lls butt next month.
kelly
Kelly, we miss you when you are gone...I hope all is going better for you now! God does test us, that is for sure! LOL
Today's calls are posted! Good luck everyone! :o)
23.Petrocosmea forrestii
Beautiful, perfect rosette! They say these take the same care as AVs, but a couple of us here have had no luck with that. I've got mine in a wine glass terrarium and it's growing by leaps and bounds, so evidently it appreciates the extra humidity.

Kelly, I hate to hear that you've been through so much. :o( I do hope things get better for you very soon. Sometimes God has a little more faith in us than we have in ourselves. :o) We look forward to having you play Bingo next month, but in the meantime, drop in here and chat right along with us. You don't have to play to visit! ;o)
What a sucky deal, Kaykay. Hope you're spiraling your way back out of it. I'm looking forward to my butt getting kicked next month. lol ; D

7 had none
Kelly, I may seem out of line, but we all stole something in our lives when we were younger from the store......all I remember is my mother made me take it back and apologize.....end of story.....
My kids did the same thing................did you say he had to miss camp for this misdemeanor ???
cjo, I just love that you're posting these stats! I missed the game when it was first done, but what a cool idea. :o)
Yayyy Janet!!! *Finally* I managed to call something you've got! LOL I really was beginning to wonder!
Uh, gessiegail...I love your honesty, but when I was a kid, I didn't know a single soul who'd stolen something from a store.
Forgot to add...
When you're dealing with a child who has autism, you've really got to let them know right from wrong and that there is no grey area.
Yay!! I'm one that had both calls today! Since I was one that had neither yesterday I'm a happy camper!
I'm off to dig up a peony at an old house that is going to get torn down. My friend dug one up already and said the roots would have filled a five gallon bucket! It's late to be doing this but it will be history if it stays where it is so I might as well try and save it!
~Brenda
Good for you, Brenda! Keep as much soil around the rootball as you can, and I'm sure it'll be fine.... it's going to love living in your garden!
Thanks a bunch, but this was kinda the straw that broke the camels back in his behavior. We have been dealing with med issues, puberty, behavior, you name it. The main problem is that he is multi-disabled.(Autism, tourettes syndrome, ADHD, Intermittet Explosive Disorder, Anxiety DO, OCD) and we have been working with MR/DD for months on behavior plans in home and at school. He is not MR, but Definitely DD. And definitely, If you don't show them the right way the first time, that is the way they think it is FOREVER. LITERALLY. Now that I have drug all you down with me, maybe I will start to feel better.....LOL, Just kidding. It does take alot of hastily learned expertise. And MAN do we ever do things wrong, and he lets us know it.
WOO HOO!!!! Look out Ladies/Gents I am coming on strong now....LOL I had BOTH!
I didn't, Janet!!!!! I am moving slowly on this bingo just like I did last month (LOL)......
kaykay, don't get down...........get your diary and start your gratitude list......I never gave up hope on a child who was on drugs for 17 years....hope is all we have......and gratitude for what we do have rather than what we don't have is the best way to let our spirit soar......
I will be gone this weekend but I am not worried about my list (LOL) Don't have many yet, but I will be chasing you all by the end of the month!!!!! My bribery attempt with cjolene before the game started didn't work.......just teasing.....
Have a safe trip Gail!
