unknown flower

Beautiful yellow primrose type flower, long jagged edged leaves laying low to the ground. Plant lays low to the ground until it blooms then the flowers stand up a bit (maybe 5"-6"). It must flower at night as they are closed by 09:30. Anyone know what this might be?

Any chance you can post a picture of it? Even if you don't catch it blooming, seeing what the leaves look like would be really helpful.

Thanks for answering. I'll try and get a picture. Note: this plant seemed to go dormant for about 1-2 weeks and is now again coming out in bloom. Guess it wanted a rest.
