I believe Dave has officially attained rock star status!! The only other person I can think of who has earned the coveted 'The' before his first name is The Donald. Dave, as one 'The' to another, maybe you can give him a call and see if he'll throw some funding your way!

anyway, how about if we do the RU from 1-7? this way nobody has to leave their home way too early and there will be enough time for fun.... you guys let me know if you want early than that...

Kassia, I have three camping chairs and some folding chairs to bring. They're comfy enough for an afternoon. Gee, I hope we have nice weather. As for food, I'm a terrible cook, but I'll bring whatever you need. I can't wait too!

I have a mini picnic table for 4 I can bring. And a rather faded umbrella.

I have two square card tables and some resin lawn chairs. Not a problem to bring because I drive a mini van that folds down flat in the back. All the better to buy plants with!

I have 5 of those chairs that fold into a bag. I will bring whatever you want: drinks, stuffed breads, you name it.

Are you kidding, Dave47??? The one that should be in awe is The Dave - he gets to meet some of the coolest, wittiest gardeners in the nation! I bet he can hardly wait (lol).

AYankeeCat will bring hummus and pita bread - and blackberry seedlings.

I will bring something to eat - and possibly some wallflower seedlings. :-)

Kassia, I haven't been keeping up with the board lately and just caught wind of this thread (because Dave dmailed me!) ~ I don't think I can make this one (scheduling conflict, darn...), but will if anything changes. This sounds like great fun!!!

hhmmm... maybe I can come ... only to Framingham? .... I'll be back from my "vacation" on Friday... and meeting The Dave is in honor outranked only by meeting Our Dave. I don't know what I can bring or anything... I know - my wheelchair!

What do we need most in terms of food- and is there a time set? Later would be better for those of us who have to drive a little bit; I don't think it will take me longer than 1 hour.

Just had D-mail, of course I will come, I think I already posted that I will with my daughter driving and will bring some cookies and perhaps a plant too but I need to know the address otherwise we will never get there, lol

I will provide paper goods and utensils...and ask my mom and sister to cook something... we can do that!!!!
