Sunday June 24 RU...
Kassia, I'm sorry not to make it.
I just got a call from my brother- my Dad is in ICU after an operation and it does not look good. I may have to hop on a plane to FL. I need to run some errands today just in case. Please say a prayer for him and I'm with you all in spirit.
-Melissa

Thank you pixie!
Melissa ~ sending positive healing vibes your dad's way!!!
Melissa - my thoughts and prayers are with you. Best of luck.
Looks like you guys had a great day - not surprising! Couldn't ask for better weather.
Kass - get some well deserved rest!
Hoping for the best for you Melissa.
We missed you, Al.

I am so tired, but I can't sleep... too excited still!!!
Me too - could you sleep last night? My husband had insomnia too; his first day back at work after vacation, so a little trepidation there. We took turns sleeping in one hour shifts.

Good Morning Kassia! Glad you had a great turn out yesterday!
Kassia, I had such a great time so did my daughter keep thinking about it over and over again. It was so great to get away from my house and garden for a few hours and have fun for a change, thank you ever so much
Melissa, so sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope all is well. Sorry you weren't able to come.
Kassia, just wanted to thank you for a wonderful time yesterday. We all enjoyed the day. The weather was perfect, and you were a great hostess. You're also a wonderful person, and I'm glad I got the chance to meet you. I'm glad to have met everyone, you guys were all so great. I can't wait for my RU in July. I hope all can make it, and I hope the weather is just as good as yesterday. Can't wait for you all to see my daylilies bursting into bloom all over the place.
Karen
Kassia,
DH and I had a wonderful time - thanks for hosting this.
Karen, I will be away in July otherwise I would be at your RU with bells on, it is so much fun meeting so many of our DG members.
Thanks everyone... my pleasure... I am dying to see Karen's daylillies and get inspired... maybe Pirl and Celeste can come???
I had a great time, Kassia. Thanks for hosting. Additional thanks to everyone who brought plants that I was able to take back for the terrace. Once they are planted I will take pictures.
Melissa - so sorry to hear about your dad. My thoughts are with you.
Have been thinking how Connecticut Yankie Dave is?
He was not feeling well enough to join the UR
A little better thank you. But I'm home from work.
I am glad you are on the mend, Dave47. Meeting Da Dave was interesting - but NOT meeting Dave47 was a major disappointment!
yes Dave, I agree with Seandor it was really just too bad, hope you will feel just fine very soon
Oh Gorsh! Thanks.
Dave I am glad you are doing better.... well I guess I will have to stop by and meet you on my way to Gram's.... and maybe even meet Victor!!!!!
yes, no Dave47 was too tooo bad. You were sorely missed, and (I speak for all of us) we're glad you're bettering.
Firefox doesn't think much of my spelling skills.

Wow it looks like you get more attention if you're sick than if you show up!! I'll have to keep that in mind for the next one. Good move, Dave.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Could Victor be feeling neglected?
xx, C
Moi?????????? (Moi rhymes with ha!)
Kass, you're always welcome but I'm nowhere near Gram. I'm closer to NYC.
Any true speaker of la langue francaise would know that moi does not rhyme with "ha".
xxx, la belle mademoiselle de Milton
In Queens it does. You know - just like park rhymes with smack in Boston...
Watch out, or we'll* come visit you next time we're down your way.
*we = 2 surly teenage girls, one resentful DH, and moi.
xxx, Carrie
Bada bing!! Are there teenagers who are not surly???
Thanks Kassia,
I had a wonderful time. it was so nice to meet you- and Dave, and everyone.
Cindy
