A, I love the c. mauritanicas, pretty lavender color.

David I noticed you are z5 do you have flowers already outside?! I like your trellis idea too.

Mesilla Park, NM

Dave's has been running slow lately, so I'm only posting a couple today... takes too long to download them here..

This is the third try on this thread..

Thanks Ronnie,
hopefully this will produce some seeds.

David,
you are doing great..love your long planter.

This one is from this morning.. has 7 primary folds..

Thanks all; I looked long and hard for a container that suited me after I got the idea. I finally found one at the orange borg.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

A, what secret ingredients are you giving your MGs?! LOL they are beauties!!!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

David, besides it's attractive aesthetics, I also like the fact that your planter looks to be easily mobilized. I'm thinking I would like to have one planter of morning glories that I can move relatively easy to the garage if necessary to extend the growing season. We sometimes get frost late in the summer and also our nights can be pretty cool. Like right now we've been in the 40's F and I think my morning glories are just sulking.

Ronnie,
Don't know what it is, but I'm glad it is happening.

It was cool this morning and Hattie Bell was also on the small side.

Gourd - Oooooooh! I love the color and shimmer of your Hattie Bell. NICE!!!

All of the blooms in this thread are divine! Some really nice crosses that turned out really beautiful! :-)

Grow_Jo - I'll trade ya! You can have my hot, muggy, and miserable days and I'll take your cold nights! 40's sound like good sleeping temps to me! :-)

Here is a cross between pink rambler and milky way and something totally unexpected!

Gourd, Is the pink from the Kongo pinks? Very pretty.
Love Hattie Bell's color.

Gardenpom, wish I had your talent with a camera.

David, lovely Akatsuki No Umi. Can't wait for my blooms

Nice flower MGMan

Mesilla Park, NM

Becky, that Hattie Bell does look nice, thank you.. I wonder if the blooms will get their normal bigger size?

Hi patootie,
Yes, that one is from the Fuji No Kongo mix.. I'll post another one later today that is the Fuji no Momo pink that is the more standard No Momo.., they are working in an area where my camera is and I can't get to it... .. I need to keep that thing strapped to me somehow.

MGMan, nice flower, also post some more photos of it, I like that color. I wonder where the pink went?

a few from the garden this morning....

This is a nicely formed pink from my Princess project. Plant size and leaf variegation of the Cameo Elegance complex, but leaf shape is different and the flower has 6 rays.

This plant from the Princess project shows an interesting color distribution with darker pink over light pink, instead of white. The plant has a somewhat larger stature than the complex.

...this blue flower has interesting fine lines.. I believe this is from Emma...

..always have to include a Kikyou...

...this plant threw a broad band of color along with the flecks this morning..which the flecked characteristic is known to do.

..on the same plant as immediately above, I was treated with a reverse tube flower with very synetrical confirmation. Often the flower is crooked with one side not completely reversing.

...and lastly, probably the most dramatic bloom this morning was found on Emma's Cocoa Chocolate. Really nice deep color and interesting modified rayed pattern.
