Only my daughter is as wild about daylilies as I am! Just want to share this withsome who would it it beautiful. I never thought i would like orange until i got this one. It it about six/seven inches across.
just want to share this photo of Orange velvet day lilly.
Hi Paulabuyers, nope you aint got the sole monopoly on the love of day lilies, I also grow them here in UK, I have Peaches and cream, colours as the name sugests, Princess Di deep pink, and a big blousy orange/yellow one that I grow beside the dahlia with the black foliage called Bishop of Llandaff, it is fab together IF you like the hot effect, but it gets calmed down with other plants in the border like a big Banana that has green/brown marking, looks good to me anyway.
I know that some of the names are different in the USA, to suit that market, but the stunning effect is the same, good luck with your love affair with the day liliy's they are tougher than many people think.
WeeNel.
