Hello all!
Ok I have tried twice to make this into one post but once I have uploaded the pic it is not giving me a a button for editing or up loading another pic so it will be 3 post sorry!
Hello all!
I have three different plants that are looking bad/sad, and I don’t know how to help them, and they are all in the same spot!
Here is the first one.
I have had it 4 years I think! And it has never grown or changed much! I have no clue what it is. It has several, what look to be new growth leaves in the bundle at the top but they never change.
It has never had any flowers. I have had it in shade inside my house and moved it to an east facing window just a couple of weeks ago that gets great morning sun and light all day but no change.
Should it be in a smaller pot?
Should it be wet/moist all the time? Letting it dry out has not helped!
Should I feet it a lot of Miracle Grow?
Thanks everyone for your time and help!
What is this?
It looks like a Philodendron - but I don't know which one. As for being in a smaller pot, you must look at the roots to determine pot size. If the pot is full of roots than it would need a larger pot. I would not keep it soaking wet all the time. Watering well once a week should be sufficient. From your photo, the soil looks very dry. I wish I could be of more help, sorry. Since this is a Philodendron of some sort, you might want to post your photo of this one over on the Aroid Forum. Philodendrons are in the Aroid family. There are some very knowledgeable folks over on that forum who may be able to give you a correct ID as well as tips on care.
Good Luck and Happy Growing!
Thanks so much! That at least gives me a direction! And yes today is watering day! I have been so busy with my Daughters kindergarden graduation, planting/worring over my flower bed and port plants, and the lawn It has been a few days longer then it should be!
I will look up Philodendronand see what I find, and go to the other forum!
Thanks again!
Here's the link to Plant Files .... there are many Philo's, maybe you can scroll down and look at the pic's and see if any look like yours:

Thanks again! I will take a look! My house plant used to look so great, and now they have all taken a nose dive!
But that gives me some thing to work on this summer!
It is an imperial green philodendron. Give it sun and keep it moderately moist. I would try repotting it and giving it just a touch of fertilizer. See if that doesn't help it spread its wings.
