IS IT TOO LATE TO PLANT HYACINTHS? NOT THE HYACINTH BEAN TYPE.
BUT THE MIXED COLORS TYPE. THANKS
HYACINTH
It's too early. Hyacinth is one of the fall planting bulbs. They are available in the garden centres in the fall, usually late Aug. It is the same for tulips and daffodils and crocus.etc...
They smell sooooo good!
THANKS SO MUCH. I WILL PLANT IN THE FALL. I KNOW, THEY SMELL WONDERFULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My mother got a basket of blooming hyacinths for her birthday in March. She planted them outside after the bloom finished. I told her to leave the leaves on until they fade away naturally. I expect they will be fine, and will bloom next spring.
