can anyone identify this flower?
flower i.d.
Does it grow from a bulb?
I'm not sure whether is grows from a bulb. I purchased them as cut flowers at a market and they have proven to be quite hearty and long lasting. They were unlabeled at the market. They have been in a vase for a week and a half and continue to produce more white flowers by the day.
perhaps it is some type of lupin. closest i have come to matching similar physical characteristics, thought the flowers themselves appear slightly different than any lupin i have seen.
The flowers are wrong for Lupine. My thought is some sort of Ornithogalum, it took me a bit of searching but if you scroll down this page there's one that looks like yours, Ornithogalum thyrsoides
