Those leaves are really mottled with color.. very unique.
We were posting at the same time... Those are pretty big..

Thanks Gourd, I`m you liked it. :)
Well, I guess at post 99 we will start a new thread but there is osme left on this one about 15 or 20.
Soooo....what else bloomed in the garden today?
P.S. I want to add Yuuzuki produces flowers 5-6 inches. Here is Emmas picture from 2005.

My seeds came from a sealed packet from Japan. Emma`s picture here looks like mine. It is possible our seeds came from the same company.

Karen, Love the light blue with it's showy foliage and the Yuuzuki.
Joseph, can't wait to see the flowers on Ki Chirimen
Arlan, I love the bold color on Heian Umi, it's spectacular.
Very droolable. LOL
Jackie
The big chocolate flower is officially yuuzuki. I misspelled it by putting one u in my reply to Ron but it won`t allow me to edit right now.

Hi Gourd. That Fuji Masume is very pretty and shimmery!
Wow, that purple one is outstanding.
Cornell bloomed again, looks the same and I'll post the photo after I downsize it.
It is there already! that was quick. :) That`s awesome looking!
Alright, guess I have to go back to cleaning..lol
Karen, great flowers..
Our pictures are going in at the same time. The first ones are a minute apart and another two are exactly the same minute.
Gourd, I`m Supposed to be cleaning too. lol !
You have some really nice flowers. I better go because chores await. I have to bag some more blooms too. Karen
Karen this one http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=3558685 is Beautiful!!!
...and we have a winner! Of the first part, at least.
The first of the morning glories from the BeanCam (which will probably get renamed, since the flowers are doing fine without any beany assistance) have reached the top of the railing, so it was time to put up some strings, to encourage them to climb the rest of the way to the ceiling. The tall creeper belongs to a Candy Pink vine. At least I'm pretty sure it does - it got a little bit confusing while tracing it back to the origin. Interestingly, the same set of Candy Pink seeds has produced a bushy little dwarf in another one of the windowboxes, which probably has the same number of leaves, but is all of a foot tall if it stands on tip-toe. Now that the vines are getting some leaves on them, and are exposed to plenty of afternoon sun, they've really taken off. The weather has been nice in the evenings, so I'm looking forward to having them fill in and provide some shade so I can use the balcony.
The pot of vines that was giving me trouble with non-opening Blue Stars had a couple more non-starters, so it has been moved out of the bathroom/greenhouse and back to the windowsill where it made lots of nice, wide-opening flowers before. Hopefully, it will like being back there better. At the moment, it's working on what looks like a Picotee Blue, so with some luck, it will open up and make for some pretty pictures. There's also another little Blue Star bud forming on one of those vines - maybe this one will open. Several of the picotees have produced seed pods, which are about the size of small marbles now, so that's kind of exciting, too. How exactly does one harvest morning glory seeds, anyway? When are the pods ready to be collected?

Beautiful flowers Gourd and Karen. Gourd, I'd say the Dbl Red
Picotee not is a real beauty. A dark plum color?
Lol Joseph.
Gourd, Those are still nice pictures despite the colors being different. Try playing around with different settings and take 5-6 different pics and see if that helps.
Guess what? This being reply 114 means over do for another thread! I`m in a hurry so:

The picture is a flower I grew from open pollinated seeds I saved last year. The parent plant was bright pink with white picotee..but the seedling has no picotee like the parent. Interesting.
I can't wait until I get some blooms. Gardener I may have to become a morning glory napper .

Hi makshi, I saw your reply but I had leave the house right them before I could reply. Today in the back of my mind I felt something was amiss so I came back to this thread.
I thought that was hilarous to think of a morning glory napper. Just don`t try to take the ones by the chicken pen because the little chickens will think your fingers are food and you could end up missing a finger or two.
They are my morning glory guardians I s`pose. :)
I may get the chick also. I love chickens they are so pretty. When we have the fair I love to go see all the diff. ones that are there.
