Showbiz roses

Does anyone have any suggestions on caring for showbiz roses? I bought 2 rose bushes at the same time, showbiz and iceberg. Both are covered in buds, the iceberg had 6 full flowers within a week, and the showbiz still has plenty of buds, but only 2 barely opening. I have done the feeding etc, of both bushes but the iceberg seems to be the only one showing any progress.

Hi Vicki, I think you just have to be patient, planting roses can stress them some, well any plant really, dont feed any more, let them settle down for a couple of weeks, they are in new ground from where you got them so they will be trying to establish new roots under ground as well as getting used to climate above the ground, I dont know what kind of feed you are useing, but here in UK, we only feed (bonemeal OR a general feed) at planting time, then keep an eye on them and at the end of the season, we give a final feed for the winter, then next spring again, so that is 2 times a year, so dont be over kind to them at this new stage in there life, just water when needed, if while you wait a couple of weeks and you see bugs on them above ground, then spray or hand remove as and when, always remember that plant's unlike us, dont take in food instantly, it has to be taken in by the root system, travel up to the greenery where we want it it show any benifit, AND MAKE FLOWERS for us, so you wont see any result for about a week at the very least, the only time you see instant is if a plant is parched and you give it water, some people think food works as fast but it never will, Roses have to make green leaves, flowers, new buds for the next flowers and stem growth, so they pack a lot of energy into 1 season, the Iceberg may have had more or better buds when you planted and therefore is more advanced than the Showbiz so dont compare just yet, anyway they are two diiferent kinds, so dont expect exact likeness just yet. you are doing good for them so stop beating yourself up and relax, I think they will come good for you and you will, in a couple of months be rewarded as you had hoped.
