We have a greenwaste bin that has lawn clippings in the bottom of it and it has been sitting for a week or two, and now the clippings are leaking out an oily substance through a small hole in the bottom of the bin. It has stained the concrete, and I wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how best to clean it up. Thanks so much
Lawn Clippings Are Making A Stain!
muriatic acid
If that doesn't work, use nail polish remover. Honest. I had rust stains from wrought iron furniture on my cool decking and the nail polish remover worked great!!
SirSedum,
Muriatic acid is sold at HD, BUT--it comes packaged as 2-1gallon bottles per box for about $6-$7. You may not need that much.....
Have you tried the new "Oxyclean for Outdoors"? I think it has enzymes in it that clean up all kinds of organic stains. It also comes for laundry purposes. I use a scoop in all my loads....
