Hi all. I wasn't sure where else to post this so I'll try here....
Without having to scour through pages and pages of the mail-order companies here, maybe someone will "recognize" this company whose name I am forgetting...
Their paper catalog is small... maybe 5" x 7". The cover is usually dark green and there is usually a collage showing images of items found inside the catalog. I think the name of the company is "something and something...."? They don't sell any plants, but accessories, many which I never see anywhere else. Spanish moss inserts for hanging planters, a wide range of support rings etc for taller/leggy plants, trellises, and then they also sell kitschy garden decorations like little elves, imitation mushrooms, etc. Their online catalog is setup so that you can see their exact catalog, page by page, and then you just click on whatever item you are interested in, in order to see the particulars.
So..... does this ring a bell with anybody??
Thanks!!
I'm drawing a blank on the name of a mail order company
No, I can't help you with the name, but it sure sounds interesting. I will be watching this thread to see if you find out! You might try looking in Garden Watchdog here, or in the Garden Art forum. If you do find it - please post the name. "Inquiring minds want to Know".
Here's a way to narrow down the Watchdog results.
1) A list of companies with "and" in their name, in the container/windowbox category: http://davesgarden.com/gwd/advanced.php?state=xx&country=XX&category=92&search_text=+and+&sorter=company_name&submit=Search
2) A list of companies with "and" in their name, in the stakes/cages category:
http://davesgarden.com/gwd/advanced.php?state=xx&country=XX&category=122&search_text=+and+&sorter=company_name&submit=Search
3) A list of companies with "and" in their name, in the garden decor category:
http://davesgarden.com/gwd/advanced.php?state=xx&country=XX&category=37&search_text=+and+&sorter=company_name&submit=Search
If none of these ring a bell, substitute the word "and" in the text field with an ampersand ("&")
