This flower randomly started growing in my front yard. It's about the size of a quarter.

My first guess would be a kind of primula but hard to tell without a pic of the whole plant

At the moment it isnt blooming, and it doesn't seem to have leaves anyways.

Serena, is it a bush? My first thought was Cynoglossum (Forget-Me-Nots), but I don't remember the flowers growing in the clumped form of your first picture....the second one looks more like it though. Check this link and see if that's your flower....
