Hello - You have full sun? Anything you know you don't like to start with?
hi thanks for helping, there is nothing that i know i do not like but i have alot of sun in the yard.
OK, long bloomers for sun. I'll start with daylillies, gaillardia, black eyed susan's,salvia, heliopsis - more as I think of them or other people add.
Annual flowers will give you a show all summer until frost. Many varieties. I love dianthus. It is available as a perennial or an annual (actually a biennial which lasts two years. Annuals will only live for one year.) dianthus are in the same family as carnations. Geraniums, allysum, ageratum, new guinea impatiens, marigold for a yellow splash, petunias, Million bell petunias(small flowers low growing and very proliferous) Many colours available. all take full sun.
Scabiosa - not truly bright colored, but a soft pink and blue which will bloom spring to snow. Good luck - have fun.
