I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this question but here goes.
If I do a light study on a new bed I am thinking of planting, how can I figure the difference, over time, of how the sun will be in, say, August. Do I have to know my latitude and longitue? Does anyone know of a calculator for this?
I just don't want to put a part-shade plant in, only to find it will be in full sun come August.
Garden Light Studies
I believe there are various garden planning software programs that do this. Not familiar with particulars though.
