Can a 10 ft palm tree be transplanted and live?

It really depends on the kind of palm tree you have, I would have a walk around some plant outlets and see if you recognise the same palm that you have, some palm trees CAN be transplanted even that big, but need support (like wooden stableisers) others cant, some people think they have a palm because it looks like one and it turns out it is from a different family all together, so you need to know what it is, what kind of root etc as some plalms dont have a root system like trees, befor you spoil a perfectly good tree, go find out what you have first.

Ok WeeNel...thanks for the info but I decided against it. It would become another 'project' and I need to concentrate on the ones I have started right now, first...lol
