strange looking stuff on my grape vines
Do you by any chance have a clearer picture? This one's a bit blurry and it makes it hard to tell what the stuff is.
I'm guessing a cocoon or egg casing of some sort, I would take a qtip dipped in alcohol and rub them off with it.
ok thanks i will give that a try
Yes it is mealy bug eggs.
Rj
i finally got rid of all of it far now, some i had to take the leaf off,
so far there hasn,t beeen any more on it.
thanks to all of you far your help
If you run into any more consider spraying seaweed extract on the leaves. I've recently tried this with measurable success. Those eggs are indicative of more to come so watch carefully. They can spread like wild fire. If you are interested in the Seaweed extract, I've compiled information on it in my diary. It contains links and other useful info. The Seaweed articles are at the top, you'll find hordes of other stuff and tips in there too.
