How many other folks in the Southeast got a good rain today? We finally got a good downpour, desperately needed, and I'm hoping for more. Maybe if we're lucky we'll have a nice wet May and give the parched earth a filling drink.

We got a few showers here and there yesterday, but this morning we're getting a good steady rain. Not as dry here as in some areas but we still need it.

It's been raining most of the night. It's almost over but I'm thrilled to see, hear and smell the wonderful gift of water all around.
Farmerdill, have you gotten much of this passing rain down there in Augusta?

Got about 1/2 inch around 5 am. Every little bit helps, but am hoping for a little more today. We are around 7 inches behind this year so it is going to take a lot to get soil moisture up.
