Need suggestions, please
I have a 5 feet diameter bare spot right under my magnolia tree.
The rest in the front yard is grass.
I'm thinking of some grassy groundcover, i guess.
The spot is sunny/shady.
I want evergreen, low maintance, fast growing.
Got the house a few months ago .
Did some landscaping to front and back.
I just don't know what to do with that spot.
I welcome any ideas.
Christine
Groundcover help
hellebores. evergreen pretty foilage, bloom late winter early spring, when nothing else does, reseed and spread likes shade. from seed though I think it takes a couple years before they flower. I would buy a few full size flowers and let them reseed. they
are about a foot to 18 in high.
I filled in an area under a huge Japanese maple tree with pachysandra. I bought a couple of clumps on ebay. In less than a year it has completely filled in the brick beds and bloomed. Absolutely the easiest thing to care for in my entire yard. It's about 6" tall.
